JOB TITLE: Radiologic Technologist
**$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS**
JOB TYPE: Full-Time/Day Shift/ 4-Day Work Week with Flexible Hours
LOCATION: Frederick, MD
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate Samsung DR, RadMediX DR, and GE Lunar Prodigy radiographic equipment.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray films and DEXA exams as directed by physicians.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document clinical histories and submit billing charges.
- Manage image transfer to Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS).
- Utilize Microsoft Office- Outlook for administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the Radiology Manager and healthcare team.
- Maintain X-ray and DEXA rooms, stock necessary equipment/supplies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulations.
- Attend staff meetings and pursue professional growth opportunities.
- Performs related work as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Radiography or higher
- Current Radiographers Certification with ARRT
- Radiographer licensure in Maryland, Virginia, and any future states
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a radiologic technologist
- In-depth knowledge of radiology equipment and protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to position patients accurately for optimal imaging
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and image management systems
- Flexible schedule and willingness to travel
- Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality
