Summary
To assist all Physical & Occupational Therapists and patients with needed responsibilities on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all treatment areas and clinic area, including cleaning hydrocollators on a regular basis and making sure there is adequate water
- Perform treatment area maintenance after each patient treatment to include: cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces, changing pillow cases, picking up debris, and preparing laundry
- Ensure treatment areas/rooms are sufficiently stocked at all times with towels and related supplies
- Prepare patients with heat/ice/e-stim before treatments as appropriate, and ensure patients wash hands before using Paraffin Bath
- Supervise and direct patients while they are performing exercises
- Pull all patient files for the following business day
- Clean all related therapy equipment and treatment tables after each use
- Set up exercise equipment as needed by pushing, wheeling or carrying equipment
- Maintain patient files in accordance with practice guidelines such as performing filing and clerical duties
- Maintain sufficient inventory of supplies in coordination with Physical Therapist
- Examine and store incoming supply shipments, and report order discrepancies to Supervisor
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Training
- Degree: Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or related field or equivalent
- CPR/AED Certified
