Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Landscape Designer located in Charleston County, SC. As a Landscape Designer at Artisan Landscapes, you will be responsible for designing and creating outdoor spaces that are functional, aesthetic, and environmentally sustainable. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then develop landscape plans and designs accordingly. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting site visits, preparing sketches and drawings, selecting appropriate plants and materials, and overseeing the implementation of landscape projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape design, including proficiency with design software and traditional drawing tools
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant species, and landscape construction techniques
- Excellent creativity and design skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and best practices
