Senior Graphic Designer

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join their dynamic marketing team in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry. This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a deep understanding of visual storytelling, and can deliver compelling designs across digital and print platforms. The Senior Graphic Designer will play a key role in developing and maintaining the brand identity, creating high-impact marketing materials, and supporting business development initiatives.

You Will:

• Develop impactful designs for a variety of mediums, including proposals, presentations, reports, marketing collateral, social media graphics, and website assets
• Ensure brand consistency by upholding visual identity guidelines and evolving design systems as needed
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to design pursuit materials such as custom covers, infographics, layouts, and presentation decks
• Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals, including infographics and data visualizations that effectively communicate technical concepts
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high design standards
• Work closely with creative and marketing leadership to develop design strategies that align with business objectives and enhance client engagement
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and fostering professional growth within the team

You Have:

• 5–10 years of graphic design experience, preferably within the AEC industry or a professional services environment
• A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft PowerPoint
• A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work across print and digital platforms, emphasizing storytelling and brand execution
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A proactive, innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and staying current with design trends and industry best practices
• Experience with motion graphics (After Effects), 3D modeling software, and additional Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel) is a PLUS!

Logistics:

• Duration: 3-6 months before full-time conversion
• Hours/Week: 40 hours per week
• Onsite/offsite: Onsite in their Manhattan office 3X a week (Mon-Wed)
• Salary/Rate: $50 per hour
