Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware to ensure a clean and hygienic environment
- Load and unload dishwashers, and ensure that dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash
- Assist the culinary team with food preparation, including washing and chopping vegetables
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or food service establishment
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
