Job Title: Architectural Site & Planning Coordinator 2
The Architectural Site & Planning Coordinator 2 manages and coordinates the site analysis, site planning, real estate purchase/lease process and assessment of civil design as required for large scale development/lot split etc. prior to closing, for Arvest Bank real estate acquisitions, expansions, or modifications. They develop and/or participate in budget estimates of potential solutions and the project request and approval (PRAF) process. They perform due diligence findings for the Arvest client and work with attorney(s) towards real estate contract or lease execution. The Architectural Site & Planning Coordinator 2 works closely with the Architectural Management Office (AMO) associates, clients, and work partners to accomplish the stated goals of the department. They require strong planning, site design & real estate management skills and have experience with newly acquired properties as well as reviews for renovation or expansion to existing properties.
What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Visit new site locations under negotiation for purchase or due diligence for lease, including documentation and evaluation characteristics, and review necessary reports and surveys prior to site purchase closing.
Provide an initial site plan concept/schematic design per Arvest Construction Guidelines based on known existing conditions. Communicate timely and effectively with Arvest clients during the due diligence phase of site purchase. After a thorough understanding of program needs and goals, provide options and recommendations for potential branch or facility solutions as well as constraints.
Provide CAD/Revit plans and/or direct consultants in their production of civil/site plans for new site construction, site renovation, building expansion, etc., including freestanding ATMs/ATMLT as required or requested. Coordinate with other AMO associates for the purchase and installation, if necessary, of site related equipment or construction.
Provide representation and review as required for large scale development process and work with property owners for shared access agreements, lot splits, easements, working in the bank’s best interest while adhering to adjacent property, covenants, city requirements etc.
Attend owner/consultant meetings on site as needed during site selection, project planning or project development.
Provide schematic site planning, design development, and budget estimates on projects as required or requested.
Create, revise and update Site and Landscape Standards as part of the Arvest Guidelines Manual for Standardized Construction, including but not limited to landscape types, placement, generic site concepts, site details, parking configurations, etc.
Solicit, obtain, and review environmental assessments and surveys for new properties and potential acquisition projects and work with the client, Architectural Planning Manager, and bank attorney(s) as required during due diligence phases as well as post conversion activities.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with peers, supervisors, clients, and work partners in order to improve the overall services. This includes but is not limited to issue identification, problem resolution, and leadership.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Responsibilities:
Toolbox for Success:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering or relevant military experience.
• 8 years of experience in site planning, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, bidding, construction observation and project coordination.
• 3 years minimum AutoCAD experience.
• Landscape Architectural or Civil Engineering License.
• Software tools include Microsoft and Google.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
Preferred:
Construction, Landscape Design & Renovation experience.
Experience in real estate contracts, construction contracts, large scale development and cost estimating.
Design & Construction Project Management experience.
Physical Demands:
The associate must be able to travel frequently by themselves within the US, including overnight. Associates must be able to frequently navigate a construction site and access all areas of a facility. This includes but is not limited to, the ability to work in and around all facility spaces: below-grade, rooftop, penthouse, unfinished spaces, and crawl spaces, access to which may require climbing a ladder or using a lift.
