Certification in Cytotechnology by agency such as ASCP.
Job Details
General job duties include microscopic evaluation of both non-gyn and gyn cytology specimens.
Equipment utilized includes microscope and computer.
Minimum years of experience required : three years. Competency in the cytoevaluation of all cytology specimens, including FNA's of thyroid, pancreas, lymph nodes, etc.
Documentation of passing the annual PAP PT is required.
Job Requirements
BS degree in the biological sciences.
Certification in Cytotechnology by agency such as ASCP.
Schedule Information
Monday thru Friday 0900 to 1530.
Employee may work short periods alone.
Call or weekends are not required.
Unit Specific Information
Dress Code : business casual.
