Our imaging program is supervised by a board-certified radiologist who works directly with technicians at the hospital to interpret test results and offer guidance on complex cases.
The Vascular Ultrasound Tech performs vascular exams of high clinical and diagnostic quality and compiles quantitative information for final analysis and interpretation by medical staff physician.

- $2.02 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
- $4.50 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
- $1.87 extra for working weekends

What You Must Have/Obtain
Education
- Completion of accredited Imaging program required.
- BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.
- Current license from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in Vascular Ultrasound. Board certification from one of the Registries must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Licensed in Sonography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with subspecialty as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). A temporary license is required for new hires. Official license in the RVT subspecialty, and national registry, must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- License from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) in the specialties of Abdomen (Abd) and Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/Gyn).
- Licensed in Sonography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with subspecialty as an RDMS in Abd and OB/Gyn.
