What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Asbury Ale House?
We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. The bartender will greet customers, learn their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also up sell items, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, work well within a team, show initiative, be responsible, dependable and have a friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. We ask that candidates have at least 1 year of RECENT consistent experience in a very high volume restaurant and night club setting, and work efficiently and seamlessly within a rapid paced environment.
