What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior .NET Software Engineer position at Ascend Technologies?
PURPOSE
This position’s primary responsibility is to perform, tune, develop, modify, or update applications in support of business objectives and ongoing operations. This role participates in the developer role in development teams' efforts to determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by the application. Participate in or review all the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create satisfied clients through effective communication of successfully delivered Application solutions and services
- Understand and execute the Case Management and Change Approval processes
- Prepare, attend, and provide Case status updates in Queue Reviews
- Communicate via Case and/or email with partners and clients
- Update Knowledge Documentation consistently
- Become an expert in clients' businesses and applications
- Escalate client, team member, and technical issues
- Forecast work weekly based on assigned cases
- Deliver on key KPIs (e.g., utilization)
- Complete application coding assignments that meet provided technical specifications and end-user requirements
- Participate in the design process that generates application functional and technical specifications
- Document application design specifications and implementation procedures to improve application quality and reuse of code
- Assist in the creation of unit, function, and performance test scripts to improve application quality and ensure fulfillment of requirement
- Plan and execute testing and implementation of major systems
- Manage and maintain Terraform for Azure/AWS or other Cloud Infrastructure
- Deploy code and database changes
- Periodically analyze, review, and make recommendations around Cloud Infrastructure
- Mentor other members of the team, and help drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of .NET development experience; ASP.NET, XML, SQL Server, HTML, C#, CSS
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience in application coding and in creating computer applications and/or databases
- Experience with programming; application of job software programs; troubleshooting and resolving database software problems
- Experience with software development, life-cycle and implementation methodologies
- Familiar with Azure and AzureDevOps
- Familiar with Terraform or similar
- Familiar with Angular or other similar JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of source control and branching strategies

Salary Expectations: $100,000-$115,000
