Rental Coordinator

ASCO Equipment in Manor, TX has career openings for a Rental Coordinator in our Rental Department. Rental Coordinators will be responsible for building relationships with customers, communicating and meeting their equipment needs, and offering our additional services. Rental Coordinators need to be ambitious, outgoing self-starters with a desire for demanding positions.

The Rental Coordinators will be responsible for checking machines in and out, writing rental contracts, and coordinating trucking for equipment. The Rental Coordinator focuses on retention of existing customer base while targeting new clients in order to implement a continuous growth plan.

ASCO Equipment is a 3rd generation family owned and operated construction equipment dealership with a network of 23 locations across the state of Texas and New Mexico.Our goal is to develop and maintain customer relationships that result in high levels of market share and customer satisfaction performance.

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the sales and marketing for short and long term rentals
• Source new business opportunities; developing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts.
• Address customer issues and resolve problems effectively and satisfactorily.
• Answer incoming customer calls and greet in store customers, while helping them meet their rental needs
• Coordinate with managers and rental sales and equipment sales teams to meet customer needs
• Participate in product presentations at customer clinics, open houses, and sponsored events
• Present a positive and professional image of ASCO in all dealings with customers, company, and community.
• Adhering to all Safety Rules and completing Safety Training as required.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Equipment Experience Equivalent Preferred

• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
• Prior sales experience and strong customer service
• Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation abilities
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred
• Ability to use a standard desktop or laptop computer and related programs, Microsoft & G-suite platform
