What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time AM Door Checker - Student Dining position at Ashland University?
Job Description
- Responsible for all students entering the Dining Hall.
- Confirm all students present a valid ID card that is entered into the card reader.
- Document all department charges and credit card transactions.
- Assist in directing customers not familiar with the Dining Hall.
- Sanitize tables at the end of the shift.
- Scheduled shift is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every other weekend.
- Additional tasks as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Attendance and punctuality is a must
- Must have a outgoing and friendly personality when greeting student customers
and guests - Dependable, and able to work with little or no supervision
- Proficient with basic math skills
- Positive enthusiastic attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in customer service
