A growing law firm in Terrell, Rockwall & Waxahachie Texas, is looking for a Senior General Practice Paralegal to be the backbone of our trial team. You will oversee family law, civil & personal injury cases and coordinate all details before, during, and after trial. The successful candidate will be able to assist in all phases of the litigation process, including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing, and attending trials.

Salary Starting: $60,000 (Salary negotiable based on experience)

Experience:
- Paralegal: 4 years (Required)
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents and file them with the court
- Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc)
- Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Aid lead attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Assist with case settlements
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of Paralegal experience
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
- Extensive computer (preferably MAC) and database expertise
- Paralegal Associate Degree or other relevant certification preferred
