What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center?
Responsible for providing physical therapy services to assigned patients including evaluation, treatment planning, treatment programs, patient/caregiver education and discharge planning in accordance with the agency policies and procedures and the physician care plan. Assumes responsibility for managing patients; maintains timely communications with others involved in the care of the patient. Provides supervision to PTA, home care aides and family/caregivers involved in the care of the patient.
Graduate of an accredited physical Therapy program. Must be able to read, write, and communicate with patients.
At least 1 year clinical experience as a licensed occupational therapist in an acute, rehab or skilled nursing setting.
Current Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Ohio. Current CPR certification. Valid Ohio Driver’s license. Current agency required auto liability insurance.
