If this sounds like the place for you, read on, and then apply at aspida.com/careers.   What We Are Looking For Position Summary: We’re looking for a highly skilled, proficient problem-solver who will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and users to translate business requests into specifications that assist the design, development, and testing of a complex software application.   What You Will Do Position Responsibilities: The Business Systems Analyst analyzes user’s requirements and high-level system architectures to develop system requirement specifications. The position is responsible for collaborating with business and product teams to capture and translate requests into system specifications in the form of user stories, epics, and development tasks. Participates in the software development lifecycle – working alongside software engineers to ensure the software solution meets business goals and objectives. Acts as a liaison between other project and program areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues. Facilitates the complex process of understanding business needs and establishing an understanding of how technology solutions may meet those needs.   What We Require Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree 3 or more years of experience as a business analyst or business systems analyst, preferably within financial services or insurance industry Excels in working across multiple stakeholder groups to translate goals and objectives into delivery strategies and system specifications Adept at creating system specification documentation to lead software design activities Strong SQL skills to query SQL databases as well as data structures and data movement Understanding of the AWS ecosystem Knowledge of and ability to manage IT work activities, processes, and progress within a system to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness Maintains a working knowledge of new technology and business analysis standards & practices Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing Facilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc. Experience with agile development methodologies and agile planning tools like Jira Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in Agile/DevOps delivery environment – must be self-directed, resilient and detail oriented Exceptional collaboration, team building, listening, written and verbal communication skills Experience creating documentation such as process flows, business requirements summaries, or user-stories Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills What We Provide Compensation: Salaried, DOE Full-Time Full Benefits Package Available   What We Believe At Aspida Financial Services, LLC, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
