Exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. We are hiring for our Marketing, Promotions, and Communications department to complete our talented team!
The qualified candidate will be very hands on, interpersonal and analytical skills, ability to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation, can evidence having a solid work ethic, good business acumen and a passion for marketing, promotions, and communication services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Develop all marketing, communications, and promotion efforts. This also includes social media, website, and marketing and promotion of programs that drive attendance and awareness. Must attend every major event to capture video and photography for marketing purposes.
· Provide vision and hands on leadership in the management of an integrated, strategic marketing and communications plan to promote and advance the brand, mission, reputation, and initiatives.
· Directs the planning, development, editorial content, production, and evaluation of promotional campaigns and collateral (print, website, electronic).
· Ensure brand consistency in all marketing, promotion and communication efforts.
· Develop and plan public relations/media relations activities that are designed to elevate public awareness and visibility (locally, regionally, and nationally).
· Oversee the ongoing development and maintenance of all social media strategies.
· Provide strategic communications and media relations counsel, writing, and presentation support to the Park Administrator, President, Board of Directors, and outside response agencies to develop and disseminate accurate and timely messaging to media outlets, and both internal and external communities.
· Must have experience using Google Analytics.
· Must have knowledge and experience with geofencing.
-Experience in the food and beverage industry is helpful.
7 – 10 years’ experience preferred with the following qualifications and skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
· Experience in marketing or communications.
· Demonstrated ability as a public speaker and serving as the organization’s representative at public and private events.
· Experience with brand development and professional writing.
· Possess a high attention to detail; high degree of accuracy
Schedule: Full-time, permanent position. M-F 8am – 5pm, evenings and weekends as necessary
Compensation and Supplemental Pay:
· $60,000 – $70,000 annual salary, DOE
