Aspire senior living is a skilled nursing facility located in East Prairie, MO. We are currently seeking a Director of Nursing. Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Missouri
- A minimum of 2 years of DON experience would be preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintains professional working relationships
- Understand and follow company policies
- Directly supervise nurses and be responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills
- Monitoring nursing care and services provided on all shifts and on a routine basis
- Assigning and approving work schedules, Monitoring and coordinating nursing activities of all shifts.
- Be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.
- Able to provide direct nursing care as necessary and perform functions of a staff nurse as required
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients and others
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
