Job Summary:
The Lead Installer – Premier Services Division is responsible for leading on-site installation and delivery of high-value furniture and premium goods for residential and commercial clients. This role ensures installations are completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with Premier Services standards. The Lead Installer supervises installation teams, serves as the primary on-site point of contact, and maintains professional, client-focused experience. Attention to detail, leadership, technical skill, and a commitment to quality are essential. In addition to field installation and delivery, the lead installer may provide warehouse support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate installation and delivery crews for Premier Services projects
- Safely load, transport, unload, and install high-value furniture and premium products
- Perform precise furniture placement, assembly, and installation according to plans and client expectations, including Hanging Artwork & Mirrors
- Inspect items prior to and after installation; photograph and document condition as required
- Serve as the primary on-site representative, communicating professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Ensure proper handling of delicate, oversized, and high-value items
- Resolve on-site issues related to access, placement, or minor adjustments
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, installation standards, and company policies
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and efficiently
- Train, guide, and support installers to ensure quality workmanship
- Accurately complete delivery, installation, and damage documentation
- Communicate damages, discrepancies, or concerns promptly to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at job sites and in vehicles
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of furniture delivery, installation, or related experience required
- Prior leadership or crew-lead experience strongly preferred
- Experience handling high-end furniture or white-glove services preferred
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to read installation plans or layouts a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Basic computer or mobile device proficiency for documentation and reporting
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 50–75 lbs; heavier items with assistance
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to safely maneuver large, bulky, and delicate furniture
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:
- Residential and commercial installation sites
- Exposure to moving equipment, tools, and heavy items
- Indoor and occasional outdoor work conditions
- Emphasis on safety, professionalism, precision, and care
Schedule & Travel:
- Full-time position with schedule flexibility based on business needs
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or overtime as required
- Local and regional travel required; overnight travel may be required

Pay: $22.00–$28.00 per hour
