What are the responsibilities and job description for the Developmental disability Caregiver position at Assisted living group home?
Our assisted living group home is currently hiring between 23-29 hours per week, with 1 weekend shift (Saturdays) required. Starting pay $17 or DOE. After 90 days, an evaluation for pay raise will be considered. This company is a small and positive work environment. We treat each one with respect and loyalty. Currently hiring for a qualified caregiver to work with mentally disabled young adults. Must have or be willing to certify in CPR, must have or obtain a negative TB test, have a current drivers license, proof of vehicle insurance, pass a background check in the state of Alaska and complete trainings provided by our company. Caregiver job description and duties:
- - Assist with the general care and well-being of clients.
- - Assist with medication administration.
- - Provide emotional support and encouragement while prompting client to perform necessary tasks according to individuals’ goals and objectives in plan of care.
- - Assist individual with household duties including but not limited to; meal prep, laundry, cleaning/chores, etc.
- - Monitor and enforce residential house rules.
- - Provide custodial services during shift. Keep work area clean and organized.
- - Cooking meals as applicable
- -Assist with hygiene as/if needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
