The Human Resources Coordinator supports employee morale, employment life cycle, coordinates all internal API meeting events, and assist HR & Benefits Manager and Payroll Manager with human resources and payroll functions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supports and maintains API employee morale by coordinating employee events, functions, holiday events, charitable events, and other HR initiatives- Coordinate all API corporate meetings including the annual VP Meeting, Branch Managers’ Meeting, Corporate Managers’ Meeting, various department meetings as needed, as well as onsite customer and vendor meetings
- Assist with coordinating the annual API National Sales Meeting
- Coordinate with Department Managers and Sales Leadership with booking and attending career fairs and recruiting events
- Manage the end-to-end process of employee life cycle, including, but not limited to: posting job requisitions, screening candidates, onboarding new employees, new hire orientation, offboarding employees.
- Communicate & reinforce role to Branch Ambassadors to fulfill their duties by sharing ideas, photos, and encouragement
- Oversee and maintain HR branding and communication initiatives on the HRIS homepage and Connect intranet
- Develops HR solutions by running reports, collecting, and analyzing data; recommend potential options/action plans
- Oversee Branch Ambassadors and train them to fulfill their duties by sharing ideas, photos, and encouragement
- Monitor HR budgets & code receipts/invoices for employee initiatives
- Assist with annual employee benefits enrollment process
- Assist with bi-annual 401K enrollment and change process
- Assist with annual salary reviews and update process
- Assist with accounting for employee expense advances, loans, and sales partner set-asides
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree with a business concentration (e.g., Human Resources, Marketing, Business Management, etc.) or equivalent years of experience. Strong verbal and written communication, technology, and analytical skills. Working knowledge of ADP is valued. Experience and training in event coordination is highly valued.
