What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Associated Veterinary Partners?

Join the nation’s most compassionate network of veterinary practices.

Associated Veterinary Partners (AVP) is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician for Lunenburg Veterinary Hospital located in beautiful Lunenburg Massachusetts. Lunenburg Veterinary Hospital is co-owned by Dr. Carl Flinkstrom and Associated Veterinary Partners. This role can potentially grow in time into a lead role with the right candidate.

Lunenburg Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve the north central Massachusetts community since 1983.

In 1983, Dr. Flinkstrom settled in Lunenburg with wife Teresa and sons AJ and Sean, and opened Lunenburg Veterinary Mobile Facility, making house calls for “All Creatures Great and Small.” In 1988 the practice was moved from the pickup truck and the kitchen table to the current facility. Two more boys and several grandchildren later, the Flinkstrom family is still growing and working together. In his spare time outside of practicing veterinary medicine and keeping up with the latest advances, Dr. Flinkstrom is devoted to his ultimate dream of building and helping others build residual income in some of the hottest industries on the planet, namely telecom, new technologies, energy, and merchant services, which will allow him to expand the practice to a new, larger, state of the art facility where he will one day be able to volunteer his expertise and provide optimal veterinary care regardless of the pet owner’s ability to pay.

Approximately 43 miles from Boston, it is bordered on the west by the Town of Ashby and the City of Fitchburg, on the south by the Town of Lancaster and the City of Leominster, on the east by the Town of Shirley, and on the north by the Town of Townsend. The team provides the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service.

Lunenburg has the charm of a small New England town while still retaining many of the qualities of a larger city. With Boston only a short drive away, it’s the perfect spot to live, work, and play for those who want the benefits of a smaller city, but easy access to larger metro areas.

From the great outdoors to a great team and delicious home-baked pies,

Lunenburg has fun for the whole family.
