The central mission of the Bioinformatics IDP is to train talented and highly motivated students to become next-generation leaders in the field of Bioinformatics. We offer rigorous and integrated training for students interested in undertaking research at the interface of computer science, mathematics, statistics, biology, and biomedicine to address the fundamental challenges of data-rich research in biosciences.
Position Summary
UCLA Bioinformatics IDP is seeking an experienced Sudent Services Advisor to guide students through the 5-year PhD program.
Salary & Compensation

University Systems Experience with admissions and funding systems used by UC (Preferred) Office systems Experience using MS Office (Required) Website/online Experience with Wordpress, Google suite (Preferred) Student affairs Counseling and advising students in an academic environment (Preferred) Strong interpersonal skills sufficient to establish and maintain productive, cooperative and effective working relationships with colleagues (Required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills sufficient to interpret and convey complex information relating to the duties of the position. (Required) Ability to notice and respond to details (Required) Ability to organize and prioritize large amounts of information (Required)

Bachelor's Degree In related area and / or equivalent experience / training (Required)
