Our Denver chapter is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SAT/ACT Tutor to provide personalized academic support for high performing students. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, preferably with an advanced degree, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. As an SAT/ACT Instructor, you will work one-on-one with high achieving students to help them achieve their testing goals at our learning center in Denver, CO.
Job Types: Part-time or Full-time
Pay: Part-time ($50 per hour), Full-time ($65,000 benefits)
Expected hours: Part time (15 per week), Full-time (30 per week)
The Day-to-Day

The Day-to-Day
- Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to tailor tutoring sessions effectively
- Develop individualized lesson plans that align with students' SAT/ACT goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure comprehension
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
- Stay updated on educational resources and best practices in tutoring
- Previous experience helping students achieve the 99th percentile on the SAT/ACT
- Demonstrable expertise tutoring all sections of both tests
- A university degree with a strong math/science background
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build rapport with students of varying personalities and backgrounds
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically
- Availability to work flexible hours based on student needs, including evenings or weekends as necessary
- Ideal candidates will be able to tutor one or more AP classes
