Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Emergency Medical Technician at Assurance Health System in Indianapolis, IN. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services and assistance to patients in need. Your day-to-day tasks may include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, performing CPR, providing transportation, and documenting patient information.
Qualifications
- Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) skills
- U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification
- Paramedic or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of medicine and medical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
- Physical stamina and strength
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
EDUCATION: High school or equivalent
DRIVING RECORD: Clean Driving Record LICENSE: EMT Certificate WORK EXPERIENCE: At least one year of EMT experience.
