Role Description
This is a full-time night shift role for a Registered Nurse located in Anderson, IN. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric nursing care to the senior population. Duties include assessing patients' mental health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The Registered Nurse will also provide patient education and support to families.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana
- Experience in psychiatric nursing and senior care
- Strong assessment, planning, and clinical skills
- Ability to administer medications and provide patient education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work compassionately with the senior population and their families
- Previous experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting is a plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
