About The Position

Position requires working knowledge of forklifts, hoists, slings, hand tools, tape measure, and drills). Person must maintain a good work ethic and environment built on teamwork, continuous improvement, safety, communication, customer service/satisfaction and organization.

Key Deliverables

• Organizes distribution and shipping final product
• Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store finished inventory ready for shipment.
• Maintain internal record keeping systems.
• Prepare and package product for shipping, this includes making crates to ship burners
• Identify product prior to storage based on internal processes to prepare for quality check
  
  

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Maintain level of work performance in accordance with Power Flame Quality Control Standards and/or job order specifications.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Load/unload products on pallets and crates using safest and most effective method.
• Inspection of outgoing freight for potential damage.
• Assurance of correct materials shipped by matching packing lists, picking tickets, purchase orders, invoices to product.
• Proper tagging/labeling of product.
• Storing and organizing materials at assigned areas.
• Pulling burners to prepare for shipment.
• Packing of product effectively to insure safe transport and no damage to product.
• Perform or assist in other assigned duties as qualified.
• Working area to be kept free of excessive debris, such as wooden pallets and cardboard boxes. Area is to be swept, and debris discarded at end of each shift.
  
  

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Position requires zero to two years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing field.
• Ability to multi-task with demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills
• Must be adaptable to changing priorities.
• Perform work standing on concrete up to 12 hours a day.
• Must be able to work in various positions including squatting, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to push/pull/lift to 50 lbs. (limit could vary depending on primary work assignment).
• Perform work in heavy industrial setting involving congestion, with exposure to industrial fumes, smoke, dust, and noise.

Office

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of injury in an office environment and occasionally a manufacturing shop plant environment. Duties include a typical office setting including extensive computer work, sitting or standing.
