What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center?
Job Summary:
We are looking for a BCBA to join our team and work with our Clinical Supervisors to help our patients identify and correct problematic behaviors in their lives. BCBA responsibilities include meeting with, clinical supervisors, families, and anyone else involved, to discuss a patient’s treatment, meeting with patients to observe their behaviors, and taking detailed notes during sessions to complete FBA’s and intake packages. Ultimately, you will work directly with patients experiencing problematic behaviors to help them correct those behaviors.
BCBA JOB Description:
- Oversee Mid-Level Supervisors and Behavior Interventionists
- Conduct FBAs
- Write Progress Reports
- Design intervention/treatment plans
- Provide Parent Training
- Provide field training to Behavior Interventionists
- Participate in team meetings
- Participate in Quality Assurance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred)
- Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) [if you are pursuing to become a BCBA, you are welcome to apply]
- Master's degree in Psychology or in a related field.
- Ability to pass a background check
- TB clearance.
- Reliable vehicle with proof of insurance.
- Excellent written and spoken communication.
- Has previous clinical experience at an autism service provider or in a school setting with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
