Our community is looking for an Assistant Dining Room Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains visibility during mealtimes by seating and greeting residents, address any concerns and ensures that their needs have been met.
- Assists with schedules and assigns tasks to wait staff, including assigning of tables and side and closing duties.
- Directs and monitors wait staff, including, uniform and personal appearance, customer service, and proper food handling techniques.
- Trains wait staff on all operating procedures and menu education.
- Supervises and supports dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement.
Qualifications:
- Must enjoy working with seniors
- Ability to interact with guests, residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years' experience in fine dining preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Food Services Sanitation Certificate required.
