Our client is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate II to join a growing Pharmaceutical Sciences team focused on advancing innovative cancer therapies. What You’ll Do
- Perform analytical testing using core laboratory techniques and instruments (HPLC, LC-MS, GC, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, dissolution, and related systems).
- Execute analyses with a strong understanding of scientific principles, test methods, and proper instrument operation to ensure high-quality, reliable data.
- Use laboratory software to control instruments, collect and analyze data, and generate clear, well-documented reports.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and test solutions in strict accordance with written procedures.
- Maintain accurate, compliant laboratory documentation to support data integrity and traceability.
- Summarize and present results to management and at internal or external meetings.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Process Chemistry and Formulation Development.
- B.S. in Chemistry with 3 years of relevant experience, or M.S. in Chemistry with 1 year of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques including chromatography, spectroscopy, titration methods, dissolution testing, and other compendial methods.
- Proficiency with laboratory and data analysis software (e.g., Empower, ChemStation, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and contribute to experimental design.
- Working knowledge of GLP and industry standards such as ICH, USP, and FDA guidance.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and commitment to laboratory safety.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
