Position Summary/Objective
The Electronics Technician tests and repairs AstroNova products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures the OEM, systems recorders, printers and replacement parts produced by AstroNova meet all specifications and requirements, both physical and electrical, by following the appropriate test procedure and/or specification sheet.
- Ensures quality of workmanship in all manufactured goods, informing his/her supervisor, manufacturing, QA, R&D and others as applicable of items that require improvement.
- Aids in training new individuals in proper inspection, troubleshooting and testing items produced by AstroNova
- Perform other related duties assigned by their supervisor or other management as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

- Trouble shooting - Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic devices
- Quality control analysis – Ensure all product is manufactured in accordance with the correct specifications
- Must be able to work independently as well as work in a team environment.
- Those that qualify may be required to adhere to the FAA Drug and Alcohol Program.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands, hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Special Working Conditions / Travel Requirements
This job operates in a warehouse environment. Little to no travel is expected for this role.
