Athena Coding is a premier after-school enrichment & programming education company offering engaging programs that inspire creativity and learning for kids.
We are looking to hire after-school instructors for our upcoming Fall program. As an instructor, you will guide elementary students through hands-on lessons that introduce them to coding and game design concepts.
All lesson plans and equipment are provided to support your teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a classroom of 10-15 children using our provided curriculum; no need to be an expert.
- Teach students foundational coding concepts and introductory game design through hands-on coding exercises & activities.
- Ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
We're looking for someone with:
- An upbeat, empathetic, and enthusiastic character.
- A passion for working with children.
- Experience teaching, tutoring, or working with children is a plus.
