Purpose: Serves as the primary relationship manager between Athene Operations and back offices of key IMOs/Financial Institutions (FIs)/Broker/Dealers(BDs). Further supports both Sales and Operations management in the ongoing productive operational support of key IMOs/FIs. Accountabilities: Acts as the primary point of escalation for operational issues raised to and from the IMOs/FIs/BDs. Leverages Athene's resources to build and execute operational account management plans. Educates the IMOs/FIs/BDs of Athene's processes, procedures and SLAs. Serves to determine the various different ways IMOs/FIs/BDs do business. Helps drive operational improvements based on feedback from our IMOs/FIs/BDs and internal feedback from the Athene's Operations teams & other internal departments/customers. Assist with the implementation of operational technologies & operational product requirements as needed. Actively participates in the onboarding of new FIs/BDs. Works closely with the Sales Team and Sales Relationship Managers on overall account management. Researches Industry benchmarks and best practices as requested. Serves as project owner or SME on smaller company initiatives/projects Provides support to other members of BRM team as needed. Travels to IMO/FI/BD back offices and/or industry conferences as needed (15% or less) Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required Industry designations (FINRA licenses, CLU. ChFC, etc) preferred 5 years customer service, operational and/or sales experience in the insurance/financial services required; ideally with a minimum of 3 years of relationship management experience preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to provide proactive support and build relationships with internal and external contacts through effective use of oral, written and in person communication Experience implementing complex projects/concepts Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel.
