Purpose: The Internal Sales Specialist provides telephonic sales support to agents and distributors regarding Athene annuity products, using a variety of tools, including product illustration software and the company intranet site! Accountabilities: Handle inbound calls from 800-line, assisting with product and sales questions, while meeting minimum call volume of 40 calls per day. Transfer/funnel calls to appropriate departments, including forwarding leads to Internal Wholesalers. Run product illustrations, meeting or exceeding established turnaround times on all requests, with 100% accuracy. Complete fulfillment requests for marketing materials. Partner with Service Liaison to handle Service Issues/Exception Requests. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required. Military experience will be considered in lieu of formal degree. 1 year of prior financial services industry sales experience required. FINRA Licensing (Series 6) preferred but not required. Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. required. Successful completion of Industry Continuing Education (such as LIMRA / LOMA) courses preferred. Experience with annuity products and illustration software systems is strongly preferred. Effective verbal and written communications required to explain products, tools, concepts and processes to a diverse customer base. Drive. Discipline. Confidence. Focus. Commitment.
