Primary Responsibilities
- This position has technical responsibility for mechanical, macroscopic, and metallographic testing at all ATI Specialty Materials sites.
- Provides technical support to the Laboratories with regard to equipment upgrades, maintenance, and outages.
- Develop Laboratory Quality Management Systems and procedures.
- Review/Interpret material/quality specifications.
- Creates and revises written work instructions.
- Develops qualification criteria for operators.
- Supports central Quality Assurance functions including internal, customer, and third-party audits
- Responsible for complying with round robin and proficiency testing requirements
- Actively involved with continuous improvement efforts.
- Provides technical support to other ATI laboratories.
