We are seeking an ITSTraffic Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO.
In this role, you will apply technical expertise to support the traffic data collection programs, potentially at a client office. Clients could include different types of transportation agencies, including the National Park Service. Tasks include managing short-term traffic counts, creating and updating traffic databases, assisting with oversight contractor data collection efforts, performing data QA/QC, data analysis for seasonal/monthly factors, creating reports, conducting field work inspecting existing count stations and giving presentations. You will work in a team environment and support to other staff.

Expected compensation range is between $76,000 - $94,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.

How will you contribute the team?
- Expertise in using or collecting transportation data.
- Expertise in traffic monitoring practices.
- Expertise with database operations.
- Experience with creating monthly and seasonal factors and applying the factors to coverage counts.
- Experience with written reports and giving presentations.
- BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering or ITS related subject such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Transportation Planning, Economics or Information Technology.
- This level may be achieved by candidates with two years’ experience since Bachelor’s or one year since Master’s degree.
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
- Field work may require hiking in rugged terrain (up to 0.5 miles)
