Summary/Objective:
The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling service technicians, handling high call volume, ordering equipment, and providing high-level customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Assigns service technicians to jobs and coordinates service resources
- Schedules personnel, materials, sub-contractors and equipment based on project needs, skillsets, and availability
- Inputs project location into system
- Responsible for customer interaction/satisfaction
- Interacts and communicates with all administrative staff, project managers, HVAC field technicians, electricians and management
- Maintains customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, routing them to assigned staff, and responding to special requests/requirements
- Conducts customer call backs to ensure highest level of satisfaction
- Obtains all information required to generate, prepare, and fax/e-mail quotes of $3k or less to customers
- Must be a self-starter, take initiative, be able to work independently, and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Performs other related duties as directed
Supervisor Responsibility: No
Required:
- Minimum of 6 months call center experience, preferably in a dispatch environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to multi-task and work in fast paced work environment
- Ability to handle high call volume
- Ability to make scheduling decisions based on current needs
- Possess excellent problem resolution skills
- Excellent communication/follow-up skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite
- HS diploma, or GED equivalent
The work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following:
Work Environment:
- Works in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment
- Position may require visits to construction site
Physical Demands:
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, filing cabinets and fax machines
Travel:
- May require infrequent travel (typically not overnight)
Preferred:
- One year of customer service coordinator/dispatch experience, preferably in a construction/industrial environment Experience in an construction/industrial services environment
- Viewpoint, Field Connect and Bidtracer experience
- Prior military experience preferred
