The Atlantic Group has partnered with a private equity firm in the Manhattan area. They have an immediate need for Corporate Paralegals to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.
Summary: Searching for handful of Paralegals for a large project we are conducting in our Legal Operations team. This role will be in the office 5 days a week (9am-5pm. 35 hour work week). Must be able to ask questions and think outside the box.
Job Duties:
Assist the Legal Ops team with entity management and corporate transparency act projects, including…
1. Distributions to counsel and portfolio companies
2. Assist with process and adapting procedure as required
3. Review fund structure and data
4. Review and validate entity formation, operating, structure and other documentation from outside counsel
5. Assisting with ongoing work
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree required
-Corporate paralegal experience required
-Entity formation/structuring experience strongly preferred, but not required
-Must be able to ask questions and think outside the box
-Investment management fund formation and structure experience is a strong plus
-Ability to keep information organized and confidential
