The Atlantic Group has partnered with a top private equity firm in Boston that is looking for a talented Private Equity Accountant to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage quarterly US GAAP-based financial reports
- Coordinate and support annual US GAAP audits
- Conduct valuations and ensure accuracy
- Manage capital calls and distributions processes
- Oversee cash management activities
- Assist with investor relations initiatives
- Document and analyze investment transactions comprehensively
- Perform carry calculations with precision
- Take on various ad hoc responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record, preferred major in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA preferred
- 2–4 years of accounting experience
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with external parties and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build efficient templates from scratch (macros experience not required).
