As an Atlantic Shores Laundry Technician, you will work together with the Housekeeping team to make sure that our residents have a clean living area. This is a great entry level job where you can grow and become a part of a team that feels like family.
Earn a competitive hourly rate between $16 and $19.20 based on years of experience.
Part-time including weekends.
Additional compensation includes:

Position Summary: The Laundry Technician is responsible, in accordance with policies and procedures that are established, to perform all laundry cleaning activities within the community. This laundry includes Health Center linens, Health Center residentials; housekeeping, janitorial, and maintenance rags; pool and beauty salon towels; guest room linens; and kitchen, dining room, assisted dining room linens. This position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Collects, cleans, and redistributes community laundry.
- Operates washers, dryers, and irons to provide linen for community’s use.
- Sees that all laundry is, in accordance with state regulations, properly weighed, sorted, washed, dried, folded, and returned the same day.
- Removes all damaged, soiled, and stained linens and unrepairable items aside for inspection by the supervisor.
- Washes isolation laundry in accordance with established procedures.
- Uses a high level of detail while cleaning and adheres to sanitation and safety procedures.
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with residents, coworkers, and housekeeping team members.
- Organization and time-management skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to work and be punctual.
- Positive attitude and teamwork.
