We are in need of an Inside Sales Associate . Inside Sales responsibilities include answering phone calls, customer service, calling customers to check needs, and data entry. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you also have previous experience as sales support or inside sales and familiarity within our industry, we would like to meet you.
Duties:
- Incoming Calls
- Quote customers within and without assigned base
- Enter sales orders
- Create purchase orders for vendors
- Place orders with vendors
- Provide product data/specs for customers
- Inside sales support for outside sales team
- Pro- active calls to account base to spur sales
- Follow up on existing quotes, sample requests
- Arrange freight for direct trucks
- Maintain current customer relationship by calling to see how we can service
- Pursue new customers
- Product Specialist
- Provide management assistance
Requirements:
- 1-5 years' experience in inside sales
- Customer focused
- Team player is a must
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detail orientated
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and scanners
- Ability to pick up new software quickly
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
