Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Purpose
Our company is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure that all production equipment within our facilities work properly and run smoothly. This position is a vital part of our everyday operations, as safety for our employees and machine upkeep are critical here at Atlantic Track.
Job Duties
Troubleshooting equipment
Routine lubrication of equipment
Ordering maintenance supplies/ parts
Following preventative maintenance program for equipment & facility
Assisting with equipment installations
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and facility
Operation of forklift , overhead cranes, and personal lifts.
Assuring safety and all regulatory requirements
Maintaining a clean and safe environment
Working with CNC Controls/ PLC
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems
Work with multi-meter and perform checks on AC/DC electricity up to 500 volts
Education/
Experience A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. A college or technical degree preferred. The prospected employee must have a minimum of two years mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot processes and preform repairs on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic control systems
- Record of stable and continuous employment
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to work in a non-climate controlled building
- Team player who can work with others and communicate/relay technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
