At ATLAS we provide indispensable support to military operations by delivering expertise in Special Operations planning and execution. We are seeking professionals for the Special Operations Strategic Planner role to develop and synchronize operational plans support joint and multinational efforts and advise on the effective employment of Special Operations Forces. If you have extensive experience in the Special Operations Community and strategic planning we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop plans orders and CONOPs that align Special Operations support with USCENTCOM s mission and Commander s priorities.
  • Provide expertise in coordinating and synchronizing efforts across joint multinational and interagency contexts.
  • Advise the USCENTCOM Commander on the employment and utilization of Special Operations Forces (SOF).
  • Analyze and ensure the synchronization of Special Operations planning and execution across DoD Allied Coalition and multinational efforts in the USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Support current operations and provide expertise for other special activities.
  • Assist with FOIA and MDR processes ensuring compliance with legal standards for declassificati on and safeguarding sensitive information.

Requirements

Required

  • Active TS / SCI Clearance
  • Graduate of the Special Operations Planning Course (SOPC).
  • At least 10 years of experience in the Special Operations Community.
  • Minimum of 3 years working at a Joint or Combined Command Headquarters.
  • Desired

  • Expertise in SOF core missions with strong cognitive problemsolving skills for operational and strategic challenges.
  • Experience coordinating efforts with interagency partners and international allies.
  • Knowledge of FOIA / MDR policies and declassification standards.
