Responsibilities
- Packing and preparing furniture items for shipment.
- Checking product quality and ensuring items are properly packaged.
- Labeling boxes and packages with appropriate information.
- Storing furniture items in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
- Collaborating with team members to complete daily tasks.
- Following safety procedures at all times.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture items.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Good organizational skills.
- Experience in a warehouse or packing environment.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- High school diploma/GED is preferred
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting is preferred
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
