We are excited to introduce our newest concept to the Washington, DC market at the end of January. Located in a historic 19th century townhouse, Parlour Victoria is a sophisticated tavern appointed with two levels of intimate dining spaces and lively cocktail bars. The seafood-driven menu features a raw bar offering the freshest selections available. The beverage offerings focus on classic and eclectic wines from around the world, hand-crafted cocktails and a vast selection of fine whiskeys. As winter gives way to spring, we will expand into a garden patio dining area where guests can enjoy our full array of offerings al fresco.
We are now seeking Dishwashers to include in our team of professionals that will join us in bringing our latest creation to life. Position Summary:
The Dishwasher / Porter is an entry level position and will work to help the restaurant execute smooth service through dish and equipment upkeep. The duties of this position may change from time to time and includes basic food preparations and stocking needs.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks
- Collect pots, pants, dishes, glassware, flatware to be washed and sanitizes and returned to appropriate storage areas.
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
- Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors
- Break down kitchen for clean up
- Remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- Daily cleaning of all restaurant’s facilities; restrooms and storage areas
- Transfers supplies and restaurant equipment from delivery trucks to storage areas
- Ensures storage areas are clean and organized
- Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to insure sanitary standards
- May be required buff floors using heavy equipment and steam cleans trash cans
Preform basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen management team
Requirements:

- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Remains calm under pressure situations

Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift 40 lbs.
Salary : $25,200 - $31,900
