They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical, high-visibility operational initiative within financial services. This role will focus on transitioning core finance and accounting activities from internal teams to external service providers, ensuring a smooth, controlled, and well-governed onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for a large-scale finance operations transition
- Coordinate the onboarding of external service providers, including planning, execution, and stabilization
- Oversee data collection, validation, and historical data migration activities
- Redesign workflows, controls, and operating models to support an outsourced environment
- Act as the primary liaison between internal finance teams and third-party partners
- Drive process improvements and help establish scalable, repeatable operating practices
Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience within financial services
- Strong background in fund accounting or fund administration
- Experience working in or with asset managers, funds, administrators, or consulting organizations
- Demonstrated success leading outsourcing, onboarding, or operational transformation initiatives
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting workflows, data dependencies, and reporting cycles
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
