Job Summary
The Director of Quality assures product, process, documentation and records are conforming to the company's quality standards.
You will be responsible for maintaining a collaborative relationship with the cross functional team in the development, implementation, and periodic evaluation of the program to ensure the organizations production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works as a team member within a manufacturing environment and promotes:

- Advises and assists manufacturing, all other support functions, and leadership on best practices, regulatory and customer expectations.
- Provide leadership for and coordinate activities for the quality control and quality assurance functions within the organization. Acts with initiative, urgency and agility to leverage available resources to support the manufacturing operation and its support functions.
- Facilitates the development of standards, procedures and processes which focus on exceeding customer quality expectations of the organization.
- Participate in or champion corrective action teams and perform root cause analysis and assist in development of action plans.
- Organizes the collection, analysis, and preparation of data & presents recommendations and findings in a clear and convincing manner to shop floor, leadership, customers, and executives.
- Sets an example for others in terms of standard work, data driven decision making, customer focus and teamwork.
- Directs training and development of individuals in quality process techniques, including but not limited to standard work, problem solving, gauge usage, inspection techniques, Core Tools and Lean
- Directly supervises teams of individuals.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related industrial, scientific, or business field from accredited from college required; 5 years of related experience and/or training required with at least five years as a quality engineer or similar role highly preferred.
