Accounts Receivable Analyst
Greenville North Carolina Plant
Perform a variety of accounts receivable duties related to customer collections, rebate processing, and chargebacks, etc. Provide back up to other positions within the Accounts Receivable group.
- Initiate collection calls and follow up on delinquent customer accounts to maintain customer payment habits within established payment terms. Resolve collection issues with customers.
- Work with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Finance, etc. as required, to minimize receivables, invalid deductions and unearned cash discounts.
- Administer customer rebate programs in accordance with policies and procedures. Update system for new programs and changes to existing programs. Review provisions and make necessary adjustments, as required. Obtain necessary approval and process payments.
- Assist team members as required to meet departmental deadlines, KPIs and objectives
- Provide back up to Cash Analyst
- Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in Accounting, Business Administration or similar field.
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross functionally and in a team environment
Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
