Location: Oklahoma City, OK The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Legal Assistant for our Litigation Unit. Position Summary: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: providing legal assistance to multiple attorneys with the preparation of pleadings, briefs, exhibits, correspondence, discovery and court filings. Qualifications: In addition to ECF experience, knowledge of state and federal filing procedures and rules are required; 10th Circuit filing procedures and rules are a plus. Applicant must be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; excellent spelling and grammar skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Must have the ability to prepare a variety of complex pleadings and correspondence, including Table of Authorities and Indexing, as well as the ability to prioritize workflow and address new priorities as they arise. Heavy litigation experience is preferred, including but not limited to trial preparation; summarizing depositions; organizing and reviewing discovery; managing each attorney’s caseload.
