Infant Care Teacher

Salary: $20 per hour (without ECE units), $22 per hour (with ECE units)

Au Clair de Lune Preschool & Kindergarten is excited to announce the expansion of our facility to include a brand new infant care center. We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children to grow and thrive. As we grow, we are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team.

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and caring Infant Care Teacher to provide love and attention to our youngest children. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care of infants aged 3-24 months, creating a safe and stimulating environment for them to explore and develop. Your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and implementing daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

- Ensuring a clean and sanitary environment for all activities and routines.

- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.

- Adapting to the needs of individual infants, including feeding, diapering, and nap times.

- Maintaining records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.

Requirements:

- Passionate about working with infants and a patient, nurturing demeanor.

- At least 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units, including 3 units specifically in infant care, or the willingness to obtain these units before September 2024.

- Ability to communicate in French is a plus but not required.
