Job Description
The base salary range for this position is $70K - $85K.
Be the driver of talent and culture initiatives. This role is the culture steward. Ensuring a commitment to training and standards of excellence. As part of the Auberge family, you will support all team members of Mauna Lani by providing exceptional employee experiences along their Auberge employment journey. The ideal candidate will exemplify the ENRICH values of Auberge and will contribute to a welcoming and collaborative team member experience. We are looking for a self-starter with strong and clear communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, kindness, and flexibility. This person will thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Be the “go-to” person for the team members.
- Maintain and update HR processes and procedures, including compliance and team communications.
- Collaborate with all department leaders to ensure policies and protocols are followed.
- Support all department leaders in procedures, payroll, staffing, communications, team concerns, and questions.
- Recruiting for all positions by placing recruitment ads on internal/external job boards and assisting in distributing candidate information and writing job offers.
- Liaise with our partners for J1 Visas to ensure all applications get submitted properly.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update the process as needed to maintain compliance.
- Maintain and create new team member recognition programs.
- Actively engages in the recruitment strategy for union and non-union positions. Identifies talent that aligns with the Company’s ENRICH values. Collaborates with and advises hiring managers regarding staffing requirements. Delivers and elevates the candidate experience.
- Takes ownership of the interview process, the pre-employment process, and the onboarding process.
- Seeks relationship building and talent pipelines with hospitality, culinary, and business programs at state and mainland schools, as well as recruitment agencies.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar HR position is preferred.
- Hotel experience is preferred.
- Experience with Union Shop is preferred.
